WELL DONE Rotherham Lass!!!!!! What weight are you now?

coffeeholic - I'm liking the sound of those shakes! I think I might get one and see how it goes. I am really bad for snacking - if I could cut that out I'd be fine. I never used to snack, don't know how I got into such a bad habit.

Good start so far this morning, I weighed myself and am 132.4lbs so it's coming down again! All that walking at the weekend and yesterday must have done me some good. :) Is that my final June weight or do I weigh again tomorrow morning and post that? All my previous weigh ins have been on the 1st so I guess I'll stick with that. It'll keep me on the straight and narrow today anyway! :rotfl:

I'm having yogurt and fruit for breakfast, will start on the porridge when I exhaust my yogurt stocks. I'm feeling pretty motivated at the mo, probably a boost from the scales. I don't want my weight to go back up again - at one point late last week it was almost 138lbs (but maybe I had fluid retention, who knows).

I'm going to think about trying the protein shakes, they're £9.99 from H&B and will hopefully last me a couple of weeks.

And the sun is out. :D Here's to a good day for everyone!

    Hi all
Sorry not been about, internet at home has decided to expire!!! After lots of phone calls sending me a new modem. Not had internet for nearly a week- feel like someone has ripped my arm off! Very sad, I know.
Just on quickly at work while boss has popped out. Not read much of the thread but those that I have - WELL DONE YOU!!!! THere are some fantastic losses for June.

I have lost 3½lbs this month. Very chuffed with that. Sadly not lost anything this week but still happy with my loss.
I will add myself to July's thread, we go on holiday on the 25th and would love to lose 5lb by then to take me under 12st. Keep your fingers crossed for me and I'll keep my mouth shut!!!! lol
    Will catch up properly later.
Well done again to all who lost and hope everyone is ok
    Taffy x
Need to sort my life out! :T

Welcome back taffy!!!!!!! And well done on the 3.5lb loss. Sorry to hear about your internet! :( I've been away too but was just eating far too much and too ashamed to post!

I sneaked a little sample of cake at lunchtime, I'm guessing it was about 20g so probably about 100 cals!!! It can go in the food diary as a reminder not to be so stupid next time. There is a cake shop beside where I work which is always offering samples, I will have to close my eyes the next time I walk past!

I also bought some of the protein shake, got the spirulina one (strawb flavour). The woman in the shop was very helpful with advice. Let's see how it goes! :o

Edit: p.s. it was carrot cake (minus icing), just looked up the cals and it says about 425 cals per 100g (so would be about 85 cals for 20g) but I am going to record it as 100 cals anyway!

Sorry I haven't been around very much but I have been keeping up the good work (at least until the last week of June when I went a bit crazy - birthday and working away). Anyway overall I lost 4lb in June which I'm happy enough with. Down to 12.7 now. Really want to do a push over the next few months and be a stone lighter on holiday in September. here's to July (I'm toasting with water by the way :) )

plzhelpmesave and belfastgirl - well done on your weight loss!!!! Way to go. :D

I had a protein shake there - there was no scoop inside the tin so I measured it with a spoon - it was VILE. I hate flavoured stuff anyway so hadn't expected to enjoy it... but yuk yuk yuk. Ah well, having paid £10 I will stick with it till the bottom of the tin!

Oops, just realised the scoop is in the tin, I just had to give it a little shake (ho ho). I actually only had a quarter measure, hmm, that might explain why it was horrid and I'm still hungry! I'll try again.

(while eyeing up a packet of Polos...)
