    Hi all!

I had a lovely weekend, hope you all did too. Just went to visit friends, did a fair bit of walking but ate quite a lot too. I'm scared to get on the scales! I made some veg soup yesterday so that's lunch sorted for the week, going to plan healthy dinners too. Tonight is HM veg curry with brown rice.

AdrianHi and crapwithmoney, thanks for all the advice and sorry I never got a chance to reply to you on Friday. Interesting about the fruit sugar content, I might give it a miss for a few days and see what happens. Although it is better than chocolate if one needs something sweet! Perhaps I need to figure out some satisfying low sugar alternatives. I am also going to keep a food diary for a few days and also record my mood to see if there's any correlation.

crapwithmoney - I am with you on the fruit teas - I hate them, they taste so metallic! Herbal teas, OTOH, are a joy and very yummy.

lightisfading - well done on STS and going swimming despite TOTM!!! :T

plzhelpmesave - don't beat yourself up about the chocolate, I've eaten more chocolate in the past couple of months than you can shake a stick at! I'm literally taking it one day at a time at the mo, and not doing too well either!! Turn that 3lb gain into a positive and let it steel your resolve (so to speak)! :D

carol22 - your food yesterday sounded lovely - I reckon it more than made up for the Nando's, and well done on the HM soup.

lostkelly - 2lbs is 2lbs!!! Well done!

binkyboo - never mind the weekend, sounds like it could have been a lot worse. Use your holiday to give yourself a morale/willpower boost!

buyitall - congrats to you! Any tips/advice to share? :D

penguin83 - what SW plan are you following? Is it that one with the red and green days and how do you find it?

Dragon - wow, 6lbs off and still a day and a half of June to go! You are doing great!!!! :T

poshstock - another big congrats to you, woohoo!!!!!! :T

    I think that's everyone covered. :D

coffeeholic, no idea about those pills but they probably won't work (imho). Give the protein shakes a go and see what happens before you spend money on pills. I'm off to H&B at lunchtime to see what these shakes are all about.

Hmmmm... I was sure I posted yesterday... I think I'm going mad! :o

Anyway... I STS this week unfortunately - loads of rubbish was eaten as I was barely at home last week as I went to quite a few things in the film festival and was also working late so Saturday was the 1st day I'd eaten tea at home in the previous 8 days. Oooops! Still I've lost 7.25lb in total in June so not too bad, was hoping for more but I'll take that as a start!

  • Hey all! I lost 1.1lbs this week, dunno my total for the month though!

Coffeeholic - re the fat metab tabs - they are quite good! I used them before on a recommendation by my friend, she took them and didnt really change her diet and lost 4lbs the first week and 3lbs the second and kept it off! I actually have them in my cupboard, I bought the small bottle last year when they were reduced. I liked them because unlike a lot of diet pills they dont make u jittery. Keep an eye on them as they are often on sale. I am not encouraging the use of diet pills but I have tried loads and I think these are ok compared to some.
