Hi everyone, hope that you've all had a *good* weekend!
I went to a housewarming BBQ yesterday and was very good, only 1 hot dog, a chicken wing, salad and a pk of frisp's + 3 diet coke's for the whole 5 hours i was there!!
Didn't manage to go swimming AGAIN this week with dd, as hubby helping family again, so that's 3 weeks now. Have told him to keep next saturday afternoon free so that we can go. I find it really does help lose those pounds!
Well weigh in for me tomorrow, last one of the month, need and want to lose 3lb's to make the 7lb's, but can't see it happening somehow...............well let's see in the morning!
Nite nite all, off for an early nite as did'nt get to bed til after midnight last nite, and i need my beauty sleep!!
See you in the morning xx:money::money::money::money:

Hi everyone, i have had a bad month i weighed myself today and have only lost 2lbs this month! Felt unhappy and have just eaten 4 bourbon biscuits! Aaarghhh! I will have to work more in the gym tomorrow to work it off. Think this month is a lost cause though.
Hope everybody else has been having a better month.Treat others how you would like to be treated.0 -
Morning everyone, a peaceful morning after a hetic weekend. I am not supposed to weigh till wednesday for it to be official but at the moment i am still on 10.2 which means i have lost 4lbs this month, not as much as i wanted but better than nothing lost or a gain i suppose. One good thing was i went shopping for some clothes for holidays and everything seemed to fit a lot better and i feel like my body shape has definitly changed somewhat.
food has been pretty terrible this weekend by not eating in the day because i was too busy and then eating a huge evening meal to make up for it.
Holiday on thursday so i will be busy washing, ironing, packing and cleaning the next few days.
Hope everyone has had a good weekend, i look forward to hearing from you all.0 -
Morning all - weighed this morning and have lost 7.5 lbs in total this month!! I've only been posting once a week but have been reading the thread - thanks to you all for inspiring me xx0

Morning all, hope everyone is well, off to work in a minute so will have a proper catch up tonight. Have had almost 2 weeks 'off' SW plan while I was off work and it was OH's birthday so have treated it like my holiday. Official weigh day on Weds but weighed myself this morning and scales saying I have gained 7lbs, hoping it isn't as much as thay by Weds but for the amount that I have ate and drank I cant really complain if I have!

Sorry I haven't been around folks we have had guests but the good news is that I weighed in on Saturday (after two meals out last week - one of which was Friday night ) and I stayed the same
Very happy with this result as this means that I have lost 6 pounds in June :j - I will be setting July's challenge off sometime later today for those of us that still need it :rotfl:Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Hi, and good morning to you all!!
I have just come back from the school run and my weigh in at boots - and i am soooo hoooot! Suppose to be a mini heatwave this week, god help me, i may be 3 stone lighter this summer than last, but i still get just as hot and sweaty - i hate it!
Anyway enough of my moaning about the heat, back to business. I weighed in 3lb's lighter this morning, so have lost the 3lb's i needed to, which makes this month's total 7lb's!! :j:j:j
The only thing i think could have helped me this week was my evening job. We have had a few problems that we have had to rectify, which means more work and in the heat obviously has been helping.
Anyway, well done all of you above for your fab losses this month, and those of you who havent done so well, their is alway's a shiny new challenge just around the corner!!
Enjoy the heat those of you that like it, think of us that are melting and suffering.
See you all soon. xx:money::money::money::money:

Yes, keep it going in July.
Weighed myself Saturday and I'm back to where I was start of the month. Just too difficult to keep good calorie control on holiday and then a friends birthday BBQ this weekend with the local beer I like
I think part of it is I'm not carrying too much excess weight now, so it's harder to get rid of the last bit. Would like to shift at least another 10lbs.0 -
Well done on getting the 7lbs off Poshstock! I hope I am as successful next month (I am away for a week during July!!)Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Morning all, hope you've all had a lovely weekend.
I went home to see my parents this weekend which was lovely as I haven't seen them in months despite only living about 10 miles from them. Saturday night was a bit of a write-off I think, after a night of curry, wine and DVDs. Lots of fun though!Sunday I burned off all those excess calories by going shoe shopping, I got back with a lighter purse anyway, there was a sale on and I need shoes for my hols so I like to think I was being a bit MSE there
I'm not going to WI as I usually do on Monday, will wait until month end tomorrow to keep myself right.
Tara and CWM - thanks for your kind words, I'm feeling a lot better about everything. I'm sure I'll be ranting again when totm rears its ugly head but for now I'm feeling quite positive.
I'm starting with my protein shakes, I had one this morning before my workout (well I spilled quarter of it on the floor, I don't think I was quite awake :rotfl:) It's definitely given me more energy, and it's made me feel full as well, I don't tend to eat a lot in the morning anyway so its nice and convenient. Tara my OH got his from a specialist shop, but after a nosy round the internet Holland & Barrett are selling it for half the price we paid for it  but it wasn't my moneyWill let you know how I get on.
While I was home for the weekend my brother told me he's about to start taking fat metabolising pills that he also got from H&B. He goes away to Mexico next month so says he needs all the help he can get. Has anyone ever tried these? Do they work or is it all psychological? I saw some green tea pills which looked quite good, I can't stomach the taste of green tea so would be interested to hear if anyone's tried these.
Happy Monday all
