I have actually been quite good today! I've walked for 2 hours (and have another 30 minute walk home, and might go on another walk later). I've also climbed 33 flights of stairs at work and eaten pretty well. Also - crucially - no chocolate!!!! I'll post my food diary for today later.

coffeeholic - how are the protein shakes going? What type and flavour did you get?

  • Well I think I might have found my weight...

STS for the third time and have lost 2lbs overall this month.

On NHS my BMI is 22.4 so I am happy with that really. I have lost over 1.5 stones since January and can fit very comfortably into a size 12 and that was my aim. I will carry on just to make sure that I don't go back to my bad old ways rather than to lose loads of weight.
  • Oh. Meant to say well done to all you losers and STSers too!!

I'm using megatein shakes, opted for the chocolate flavour that OH didn't want (plus it gives me my choccie fix ;)). It says on the container to have between 2-3 per day, but I'm just going to have 1 in the morning to start with to see how it goes. The shakes are so filling that I didn't feel the need to snack during the day either, and just had a sandwich for my lunch. It's only day 1 and I'm feeling pretty good so we'll see how it goes.
All the coffee in Columbia won't make me a morning person... :D:p

I've never had slimfast shakes so can't really compare. The chocolate one I have is yummy, OH has a fruit punch one which I'd also quite happily buy as a milkshake. I mixed mine with semi skimmed milk and it was lovely, a pleasure to drink! :D
