There has been 17 months of steep falls, do you really expect this to continue forever?
Dan, you fail to see the bigger picture. We had a MONSTER 141 months of steep rises (over 20% in more than one year) to a shockingly unsustainable level, do you really expect them to rise after comparing that to the minuscule 17 months of drops in a major recession?0 -
Oh no, there are already people at wrk saying they are not goin to drop the askin price of their homes now that prices hav started to rise and the crash is over!
Every month they seem to forget the last months Hali-wide report and price accordingly. its insane.0 -

I actually love hearing this, it only means the crash will last far longer than necessary giving anyone saving for a deposit far more in the pot by the end.0 -
A friend said to me the other day that it won't be long till prices are back where they were at the peak, so I said does he expect a V shaped house price crash. Yes apparently.
He wants to sell a house and is hanging on for good prices, I think he isn't alone.
The fact afaik that this has never happened before doesn't seem to make any difference.
Property still doesn't seem to have been blasted out of the publics view of a short term good investment.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -

GG
I thought they were seasonally adjusted'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
At least it shuts the 70% brigade up for a few days
they were starting to pop their heads above the parapet again'
Somebody had 50% falls by Christmas 2009 :rotfl:
With the fall from peak being around 17% in 18 months, they are needing 33% in the next 7 months :rotfl:
Good luck with that one:rolleyes::wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
