I read it that the monthly plans are payable on a monthly basis regardless of use that month. It is also worth noting that the $2.95 a month service only gives you 15 listings which makes it 20 cents a listing, and it is therefore actually cheaper to schedule a listing direct on ebay.

I was also amused to get an email on my accounts thanking me for my support in deciding to opt to stay with Auctiva..even to the account that was closed shortly after I got the announcement, nice to see their records are so up to date. I didn't however get the email on the one big account I still have left to close.

I opened an auctiva account just before they announced the charges. I don't intend to pay for the service. Do I have to close it. or can I just ignore it and hope it'll go away?

As at the end of June any accounts that don't have a card registered will be closed. That doesn't matter of course if you have nothing live, but it means anything that you listed via Auctiva will have the photos disappear as they are hosted on Auctiva.

Is anyone actualy going to stay with Auctiva?

I have been using it for a couple of years now and never had any problems and can list things pretty quick now.

I don't really want to pay to use Auctiva, but I spent hours yesterday trying to list an auction with Turbolister and found it really un-user friendly!!

I keep getting an error message asking me to set my dispatch time, I worked out how to do this via the Tools>Options menu, but it doesn't seem to apply this setting to a listing I've already completed ready to upload!!!

Please someone tell me Turbolister does get easier!! I'm hoping I am struggling just because I am new to it!!

I find turbo lister a hundred times more user friendly than Auctiva and about 10 times quicker, the only reason I ever went to Auctiva was for the free scheduling .

Once you have your template son TL it all becomes a lot quicker.

All I have to do though is work out why mine is a bit temperemental and sometimes just closes down half way through a listing :(

Thanks Soolin. I will keep at it. I'm sure it will get easier!

I just updated Turbolister and have finally managed to upload my first listing!

I dont know $10 per month - what`s that a little over £2 a week ? - I know its on top of Ebay/Paypal charges and soon to be "free " postage as well - but I like the scheduling and if it means it stops freezing and its a one page list - I might give it a go for a while

Just bumping to remind people that the free trial period finishes this coming Tuesday.

My Auctiva accounts are now all closed and I have just to work out how to remove all the bits and bobs like scrolling gallery left behind to make the auctions like tidy.
