Nope, my main stock items were all uploaded and then my own copy deleted. My PC is not only a work related one so I can't be bothered to have hundreds of photos littering it up.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Slightly off topic but does anyone know how to get rid of the scrolling gallery?
I deleted my account a couple of weeks ago as I got so fed up of all the down time but the gallery is still there, ive started to use photobucket but the Auctivq gallery is still showing and messing up my listings
This is auctiva's answer,
To remove the scrolling gallery from your current listings, you must delete the scrolling gallery HTML from the HTML description of your listings using eBay’s “Revise your Item” form. The specific code you would need to remove begins and ends with the following HTML tag: <!--ASW--> You can also verify the HTML code that is used to generate the scrolling gallery by clicking the “Scrolling Gallery HTML” link under the “Store” tab within your Auctiva account.
In order to remove the scrolling gallery from listings to which it was appended automatically, you will need to revise each via the following process:
1) Click the "Revise your Item" link on the item.
2) Scroll about 1/3 down the page to the “Description” section and click the “HTML” tab on the editor.
3) Hold "CTRL" and press "F" to initiate a Firefox/IE “Find” command.
4) Enter <!--ASW--> in the "Find" field, and click "Find Next". The text <!--ASW--> will become highlighted, which is the beginning of the scrolling gallery HTML.
5) Click “Find Next” and a second instance of <!--ASW--> will become highlighted, which is the end of the scrolling gallery HTML.
6) Delete all of the code between and including those two tags and save your changes."0 -
i wouldn't even consider deleting my listing photos from my hd unless i was 100% sure i was never going to need them again.
even if you just burned them onto a disc every 6 months, or better still had an external hd to store back up info on.
they may not be a precious as family photos, but it would still be one hell of an inconvience if you lost them all.:grouphug:

My stock is not fixed though, and although i kept everything for ever when I first got online it got to the stage where I decided I had to be ruthless and start deleting things from my PC that I would not need.
My business photos from current stock are now all on photobucket so that account is good to go, I'll start on my other aco!!!!s soon and then close down everything on Auctiva.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Is photobucket the same sort of thing as Imageshack?stevew8975 wrote: »It's interesting to see that in times of economic hardship, people are still signing up to pay for services that could be considered a luxury...
Between photobucket, turbo lister and ISDNtek, all the features of Auctiva et al are available for free.I Hate Jobsworths!!!0
