  • Such a shame but Monk Tulish is right. After some I went to last year I swore I'd never do another ever again! It's just about finding where the worth while ones are. Someone I spoke to at the last fair I did said that she gives each place 2 chances and if it's rubbish both times she doesn't go back.

well first craft fair = disaster! about 20 ppl all day, sold NOTHING!!!

Yes, don't get disheartened. I sold a few little bits at my first one, but didn't make my stall money back as it was the same - hardly any customers all day, a total waste of time, but I am looking forward to trying some new venues so chin up!

    Hi all,

That's a shame the fair was so quite Natalie :(

Ive made two nappy cakes now, im quite pleased with them :) ive just got to tie the ribbons around them properly and there done and i will post some pics.

Ive got a question...again ..lol. Ive made my first box of sock cupcakes too. Which are actually for a friend of mine from work whose just had a lil boy. She doesnt live locally so i will be sending them to her. But i thought if i post them out how do they stay in place?!! surely they will fall out of the silicone cases and roll about. I was thinking of sing a little double sided tape but i dont want to ruin the socks or the cases. What does everyone else do when posting them out?

    Many thanks maria x

Yes - they will fall out! I use sticky pads to stick the silicone cases to the bottom of the box and then the socks into the cases. It took several refunded P&P charges to get this right. I've alsoo sent them with a layer of tissue paper inside the box but obviously this ruins the look of the gift

  • Mariagti its gorgeous you should be really proud Cup-cake-queen do you ever use the small glue dots??? wondering if they are stronger than double sided tape as struggling myself to keep things in place.

Also would like everyones opinions please do you think adding a vintage teacup and saucer candle to a nappy cake as a pressie for the mum is a nice touch or would be taking it away from the whole nappy cake thing as id have to remove a baby product to make room ???

    Thanks x
