Hi tutu, my 2 tier cakes cost me about £12 to make and i charge £25, £15 for 1 tier, and £35 upwards for a 3tier. some more or less with extras. I am to make about 50% for profit and time and labour :)

I have only posted one 3 tier so far and used Parcels2go (Yodel as the courier) and it got there fine. I would use them again. I wouldn't trust sending out a large cake by Royal Mail.

Thanks very much Natalie and Sweetpea32, I shall send it with Parcel2go. Just to let you all know you can get nappies for 19p if you register with naty.com. They give you a £4 voucher and their cheapest nappies cost £4.19.

19p each?? If so, then that is not cheap.I don't pay any more than 9p a nappy for Huggies or Pampers. I always wait for the offers. Last lot of mega boxes of Huggies worked out at 7.7p a nappy, on offer from Costco.

Sorry Sweetpea32 I didn't explain it very well, its 19p for a pack of 27 nappies, size 1, using the voucher. I always wait for the offers as well. Regarding clothes I always go to Next Of Choice. They sell Next clothes but end of line and you can get 3 baby grows for £2.50.
  • Hi amurphy

Ah, LOL, that sounds much better!! I use size 3s usually, but for 19p I think I might as well see if I can get them as you do sometimes get people wanting smaller nappies.

I didn't know about next of choice, is it online? I will see if I can find it now. Thanks for the tip.

Hi Deborah, not seen you on here in a while. Hope you are well. I have just googled it, so see if there is a store near you as there are a few. Not near to me unfortunately though.
