Janey - is it weird how I'm somehow very impressed by your cardboard boxes! :D also when ever I Googled Next of Choice all it kept coming up with emergency contraception, if my husband searches the history he's going to have a heart attack!

Thank you so much Janey that is a big help. What company do you use for the boxes?

Sorry me and my friends know it as Next of Choice but the wesite is diferent, here is the link http://choice-discount.co.uk/. You can only buy in store so I hope there is a store near you. It is brilliant for bargins.

Hi Chic........ I use www.ascdirect.co.uk for my boxes, they are based up in Bradford so if you anywhere near there you can collect, you can customise the size of box with their box builder toll, it's fab, I make sure I get the size that is just right for my nappy cakes so that they fit snug in the box, they can't move about then and I haven't had any damaged using couriers and I have sent loads out, would never use royal mail though lol

  • mariagati,

yes I am also really struggling with the soft toys :(

The rosebuds, i bought those little ribbon roses, they just stuff in the cupcake really, I took zangels advice on that as i was also unsure before I started ;)

  • Janey - gorgeous, love them!

I don't use the rose buds for mine I make daisies from florist ribbon.

How did everyone do who were attending events this weekend. Mine weren't great just a few sock cupcakes and a couple of lolly pops although someone I know who makes chocolates is hoping to come up with her own baby shower gifts using my things which is a big help. All good experience though and was some time away from my terrible 2 year old!

Thanks for the link Janey, I shall have a go tomorrow at ordering some. By the way, I love your site. I remember your site was one of the first I looked at when I googled nappy cakes. Your cakes are amazing and the baby basked is the cutest I have seen yet :)
