  • aw that's such a shame, I hate it when you put all that work in for no return and it's such a risk. The overall event was pretty quiet but I did well and it has generated 3 orders in total with a couple of other people saying they might come back to me so fingers crossed. Going back to the same town over easter weekend, it's a touristy area and I've been trying to find events here for ages as there's money there and I'm now finally in the loop. I've seen sock cupcakes in shops in this town for £8 and apart from them being sold in an acetate box they don't look all that different.

Have just returned from my first event of the year and my first in a very long time and it was fairly successful, probably my most successful yet so pretty happy. I have learned a lot from last year to definately avoid school fund raisers! Just full of people there for the barbeque!
Did you take any photos of your stall we can have a look at :)

Hi im a newbie to this thread,

Im so so glad ive found it! Ive been on this site for years and never seen it before until i searched 'nappy cakes'.

Im yet to make a nappy cake ive been doing plenty of research so far and this weekend ive been brave and bought some 'tools' and baby bits for the cakes and hampers im hoping to make. I did have lots of questions but ive read through the first few and last few pages which have answered all of them :)

All your cakes and gifts look so gorgeous, im hoping i can do as good of job. Im so excited to make one! I cant wait for my supplies to arrive now.

Hopefully i will be able to add to the thread with any baby bargins around that i see.

    Maria xx
