My facebook page is Nappy Cakes by Nicola. It's only the bare bones at the moment, but hoping to add some more pictures and info a bit later today if I get a chance!

Sweetiepie, I tried to reply to you by PM but it won't let me as your settings are blocking it.

    Hi

No, I didn't get your message. Just checked my inbox and there's not one there :(. Feel free to resend it!

I don't know what I've let myself in for some days, I've got a 20 month old and an 8 week old and I'm making nappy cakes and trying to promote them. No wonder my ironing pile is out of control!!:rotfl:

I've been out to local shops today to see if anyone would be interested in stocking my cakes and had quite a good response. I have put posters up in 3 windows, a couple of shops were interested but need to speak to the managers when they are in but the local newsagents said that he would take two or three on sale or return to put in the window. The only thing I am worried about is that they might fade in the sun and I won't have been paid anything for them if I have to take them back but I guess I've got to give it a go as it's my only definite shop so far. I said I would get them ready for next week. I was thinking of giving him a 3 tier a 1 tier and a mini to start with.

None of the shops that I approached had ever seen anything like them before! The man in the Post Office said that I could put my poster up for £1 for a month. It's usually 50p a week but he liked them so said I could have a discount!

Here are my latest cakes - these are mini cakes with 10 nappies, blanket, soft toy, pair of socks and feeding cloth (pink one) or wash cloth (blue one)

    Hi ladies

I have been making nappy cakes for friend's and family but now don't know if I should take it one step further and do it as a business or give up. I have been told that someone else locally has started making nappy cakes but in my friend's words they are "awful". I feel now is the time to give up or go the whole way and start up as a business.

Where do I start with this? If anyone would prefer to pm please feel free to do so.

    Thanks
