I actually dread getting orders at the moment as I really can't source anything at 'reasonable' prices around here. I've stopped short of raising the prices, rather put a few less items into my cakes but it's getting really desperate round here0

Good for you Giggle! It's not just prices that have gone up but I am finding myself buying more expensive stuff than I used to.
xpf, What are you having trouble finding and what sort of prices do you want to pay?0 -
Teddies are my main problem. I've gone from buying some lovely ones in poundland in the v early days to having to pay £4-5 for anything I can find that is suitable.
I used to get the spotty blankets from poundland as well but now have to pay about £4 for each blanket as well.
I only used to make a few pounds on each cake I made so am having to skimp on the number of toiletries inside (that you can't see) to try and make it worth my while.0 -
