Gorgeous cakes as always Chatty, and very wise words ;) I think we have all been in that situation before where we have stocked up, sometimes it works out for the best and others like you say end up having to sell things on!

Moonpenny - My boxes are only single wall, they are perfectly safe ad strong enough. I use a mixture of air pockets, and bubble wrap for posting and have only ever had one mis hap which was rectified and redone, this was the fault of the courier though!

chatty123, Thanks for sending Rusty over.

Cakes look lovely, love the cream bear!:T

Rusty, Thanks for that! There is a big price difference between single and double so it's good to know I could perhaps get away with single.

I thought to use sheets of polystyrene inside the single to make it stronger but that would probably cost as much as the double walled boxes.

Are you still doing your "Footy" cakes?

Sales are slow here :( I must admit though I just do word of mouth.

Can anyone recommend how to start up a website, preferably free, for someone who is pretty useless on computers?:o My daughter made me one but does not stay at home now and I don't know how to keep it updated:o
  • Hi, my brother is expecting very soon and i would like to have a try at one of these as a gift for them. I have NO idea where to start, could somebody possibly direct me to a VERY easy guide on what to do please. I would like to use a blanket/towel etc to cover the nappies, and i would like to do 3 tiers if these factors matter on which tutorial i use. Many thanks guys xx
    If it ain't reduced, i don't buy it! :j

I am not saying this is the best tutorial as I have not watched it all but look at this or have a look on Youtube.

    all advice gratefully accepted lol
