Had a quick look on you tube and google but they all seem to be about how to make your own from scratch rather than pulling together a ready made flat one.

i do make my own pull bows as it is cheaper but started off with pull bows and they are so easy. Did yours have the 2 thinner bits of ribbon inside the wider parts?
You hold both thinner parts and pull them slowly with one hand while you hold the thicker ribbon in the other hand. It should just naturally form a bow then tie the smaller ribbons together.

You should be able to work the bow back out again if un- tied with your hands. just slowly pull the wider ribbon back down.
I hope this make sense but without seeing it i can't tell what you have done.

Thanks for the links Sam. I am clearly suffering from tiredness with lack of sleep ( I have a 4 week old baby). I'm not going to tell you what I did, because I feel really stupid now as clearly pull bows are the easiest thing in the world to assemble!! I am going to order a load more online in bulk.
