I bought a flu kit from the 99p store and remade the header card and added disposable gloves, nappy sacks and tongs to the already existing antibacterial hand gel, face masks and wipes!

Been to a craft fair today to see if was worth standing there sometime. Found it too pricey but found someone local that machine embroiders fleece baby blankets for a fab price. Got her card for if I want to order more.

Hi Stacylou, went to look at your homepage and like your website and the 'blurb' is great and clear but if I may comment the photos don't enlarge? Would put me off as a buyer as you can't see very clearly what you are buying? Sorry, hope I haven't offended, I just know I appreciate feedback on my website!

no offence taken... i know what you mean.. have been on to my OH to change it for a little while now.. it would put me off also.. thanks for the feedback =) x
  • evening ladies. some really lovely cakes on here again. Wondered if anyone can give me a little advice. I know some of you present a single sock "cupcake" in a little case on top of your nappy cakes. What i wanted to ask is has anyone found a way of securing the silicone cupcake cases to the top of a nappy cake. I already use them in a cake box and know that it is hard to get anything to really stick to it (apart from glue) I am really worried that it will just roll about otherwise. Any advice greatly appreciated. TIA x

Haven't found a great single place, recently bought a lot of the christmas teddies from Buyology as they were £1.50 and you can remove the hats and scarves then put ribbon round their necks according to which sex you would like them to be. Primark has some lovely colourful teddies for £4.
  • just thought I'd share:

Called into our local Wilkinsons the other day as I'd never thought of looking in there for baby stuff & they have checked fleece blankets (amongst other things) for only £2.50...which is cheaper than I was buying them from the wholesalers (JTF) for!!!!

Also, if you know anyone who has a 'Costco' wholesalers card, you can get a box of 144 papmers size 3 for £12 (no vat)

    :)

Mrs Francis Thanks for that will have a look in, thats a great price!!!!

Can I ask.....the toys that people include, are these always suitable from birth? I am really struggling to find any nice from birth toys that are not £5+ which is really putting my costs up!!
I would of course leave all the tags on, but it just feels a bit silly putting a lovely soft toy in that cant be used for the next 3 years!!!!!

DueMarch11 - I'm like you struggling to find toys and would love it if someone could point me in the right direction. I am in North Yorkshire, is anyone else from around there??

    Thanks everyone
