  • Great first cake thumper!
I am a bit of a lurker but thought I would pluck up courage and post.
I do occasional nappy cakes and a few pamper cakes. This year I have one and got myself booked into 7 fairs in the coming month and half!!! WHY!?!
Now I will have to spend all my evenings amking bits. Told hubbie I would see him at Christmas!
Trying to earn some pennies from crafting again this year!

    Hi everyone

Some lovely cakes!!! Haven't posted in ages so thought I'd pop on with a few photos of some cakes I've made over the past few months. Here's a Forever Friends one I did...

  • Hi all.

I have just found this thread and would love to look through the whole lot but there are so many pages. I have seen some beautiful cakes from you all and will find the time to look through the rest of the thread but it may take a few years, lol.

I have been making nappy cakes for a few months now for friends and family but have taken the plunge to start a business. I have my flyers and business cards printed and my website has been started although it still needs a lot of work! I am a stay at home Mum at the moment to 2 beautiful children who are angels most of the time.

I went to my first sale yesterday prepared with my nappy cakes, cupcakes and swiss rolls. However the sale seemed as though it had not been advertised very well and less than 20 people came to browse, most of which were stall holders friends. It was a very disappointing day for all stall holders and we were told to pack up early :(

I have not been put off and I'm currently looking into more ways to promote Baby Bundle Bakes and wondered if you have any ideas you could share with me?

    Many thanks

    Tammy
  • I have just been trying to post a photo of my stall but I can't seem to do it so if you wouldn't mind taking a look I have a Facebook group under Baby Bundle Bakes and I would really appreciate feedback.

    Many thanks

  • Another question!

How many nappies, on average, do you use on the bottom tier?
