You could use an empty gift box and fill it with baby bits and bobs, then cover it as part of the cake.

What a great idea... you could use as part of the base. Thanks

Ok..... needing a bit of advice here. I have just had a request for sending a cake over to America lol.

Any ideas on costing guys? lol

I've just sent one over to America but it was a gift from us for my new Nephew but it cost us £36 p & p to send it so I definitely wouldn't have bothered for an order. No one will pay £36 on top of the cake price for something that's available widely over there.

I went car booting today - people have so much brand new baby stuff they don't want!! Booties seem to be the theme of the day so now have lots, also got a brand new Winnie snow suit for £1!! Another seller had a load of WTP brand new stuff but wanted £4 each, probably cheaper than the shops but I had just got a brand new girls father christmas dress for 25p so was in cheap mode! Good morning though.

I've just made up a twin nappy cake for my mum's next door neighbour. Bit different to the one I made previously for 2 boys as this one is for a boy and girl. The photo is very bad so I apologise in advance :o:o

They are actually just 'party' plates that come in either gold or silver and I get them from poundland - they're ideal for cakes that aren't too heavy! :)
