Well given thE choice I would definitely prefer this one to a pink! I know what you mean about horrible colours! I keep ranting about this latest fashion of short sleeve jumpers!!!!! They don't keep you warm so what's the point! Can't get nice jumpers now that have long sleeves! Lol completely offtopic!

Same goes for blankets etc. Come the summer, there will be loads available.

Vikki_louise I think they have blue for girl and pink for boy in France. Weird!

Im not to worried about it as i find most people would have a look and then see if they could find someone local to them anyway i mean why pay the P&P on it when you can pick one up from someone close to you

    Good point!

  • Personally I also think it is wrong, and looking at some of her things, some of them look unfinished, and wonky ribbons etc, I know sometimes it is hard to get things perfect but surely you would make an effort to get nice photos to promote your business?

I have only ever sold pink ones to girls, I have to say when my DD was born, I swore she would never be in all pink, but that soon changed and I think with boys it is so nice to see them in other colours but baby girls they always look the cutest in pink ;)

    Jojo lovely cakes.

    Totally Agree Rusty! Thank you!

Hello girls haven't been on here for yonks and just having a little catch up. Some lovely cakes on here as always. I've got 3 to do this week including a twin boy/girl cake so that should be interesting!! I haven't been making many recently as I have been concentrating on my sock monkeys and other things so better shift my rear and get cracking I think :)

I have to say I agree with what Rusty said earlier having looked at the website in question i was not impressed! each to their own tho ;)

Erm, blimey, personally I would say don't bother, it sounds horrible when I say that but you can get some massive nappy cakes over there for little money ... i.e if we priced a cake at £30 they would have the same cake priced at $20 which is a lot less, everything is so much cheaper over there and also for something so heavy you would be looking at well into £30-£50 postage by courier to send over there!! possibly even more!!

Try weighing it and then check the Royal Mail website for postal prices. They have a postage calculator. Make sure you take into account that you'll probably need extra P+P supplies to secure it and think carefully about what products you are including as you don't want any spillages on such a long journey.

    Hi everyone

Some lovely cakes!!! Haven't posted in ages so thought I'd pop on with a few photos of some cakes I've made over the past few months. Here's a Forever Friends one I did...
