New Nappy Cake

Rusty and Nat, thank you so much for your super fast replies! I was thinking along the lines of £5 profit per cake too. I totally understand about the pricing and not changing it because of sales etc. In the one I made the socks went through the till at half price and the pack of WTP dummy holders and the rattle were on BOGOF at 99p so I saved there. It included 33 size 3 nappies, hooded fleece, muslin, feeding cloth, 2 pairs socks, 2 pairs scratch mitts, bootees, johnson's shampoo and bar soap, teether, 2 dummy holders, rattle, brush & comb set, teddy and 2x mini wines plus the board, cello, ribbons and bow. If I took the wine out it would have cost £21.95 to make. I had to buy some of the bits in a rush so I know I spent more than I would if I was making that one to sell.
Nat, I made it surprisingly quickly! I swirled the nappies which I found really quick and easy. It was putting the ribbons on and wrapping it that took a while to do, mainly cos it's a bit fiddly, but once I get used to do them I know I'll get quicker. Also, as it was my 1st one I went round a few shops to get different bits and pieces, so shopping wise I spent quite a long time on it. I'll have a look online before sending any prices to my friends.
Thank you both for your advice

Haven't had many orders for ages so I was rather shocked to receive 4 so far this week. Now I've gotta try and find decent blankets at a reasonable price ASAP! Has anyone seen any bargains recently?

I'm so excited! The friend who asked me if I could post cakes has just ordered a bath time cake :j. I had to come on here straight away to share this as I'm MEGA excited! I only put the photos on facebook on Sunday and I've got my first order :T
So.....more advice needed pretty please
The main specifics are the best quality hooded towel I can get and either Johnson's or Burts Bee's products. I remember reading that Poundland do Johnson's shampoo etc, and if Adsa have got their baby event on I might be able to get somethings from there. Any advice on where to get Johnson's and/or Burt's Bees for a decent price?
I was going to go to my local Asda Living and B&M tomorrow whilst DD2 is at playgroup to get some bits to start making up samples so I can take some photos to put on facebook- it must be fate lolExtra savings aim for 2020 £4,000 £0/£4,000
