    Good Morning Everyone

Long time no post, hope you're all ok?

I need some help ladies please - I've been asked to make a 4 tier cake for a new baby in neutral - however - this is the hard part - she doesn't want any nappies in it?! She wants the clothes, toys, everything else that we'd use, but no nappies - has anyone any ideas what I could use instead?? lol

Cookiedough38, your twin cake is lovely, how many nappies did you use on each tier?

Sally you may have done ths by now but what about a big cot blanket and roll like a towel cake?
    just a thought

Thank you i have tried to make them a little bigger for you but i am not sure how i put photos on here. The pink and blue ones contain fleece blankets on the bottom from b & m £1.99, nappies from asda when they were a £1 per pack. top layer is a muslim sheet from asda £3.50 per pack of 3 i use just one, then two pairs of socks from home & bargain at 59p per 2 pairs, the shoes were 39p from home and bargain i only got 4 pairs and they have no more i am gutted i did not get more, there is also a bib and burp set from home & bargain £1.50 for those i put the burp one on the bottom so the design showed and hid the join of the blanket and the bib on the top layer at the back to hide the join on there and the rabbit i hand knit. The disney one i had to buy a big red fleece blanket for £3.99 and had to sew one from it but it will make another one. The blue blanket on the top layer was 99p from a store near me called winners they do pink to match. mickey mouse teeshirt £1.50 from asda and at the back there is a stripey mickey teeshirt £1.00 asda again and in the bottom layer there is also some red short dungarees. The disney one i ended up doing a layer of nappies round the outside for the bottom cake and in the middle i put a pack of cotton wool ball and it seemed to make it more round and solid, the packs of cotton wool balls are 24p at asda at the moment.

You could do the rabbit naked and then make the jumper when you find out, i make about 5 at a time and then do the jumpers after. I do them watching tele and i do a few different designs on the jumper if you need any help pm me. :)

I got mine from Asda. Tescos do them as do most shops that sell cake decorating items.
    There are some on ebay:

but only a good deal if you are going to do more than one nappy cake.
