Yes, these seem to be the same kind as cotton wool katie found as well........what a brilliant idea. Great for a kids party, its my grandsons 3rd birthday next month. If I can find the flat bottom cornets at the supermarket I will give these a try.

They certainly are a great idea!! :) Just been to tescos and they're in there for £1

Hi, I have had a couple of nappy cakes made up now for the last couple of months...someone is due to have their baby in July so may be sold. However the next one to sell is possibly the end of September and she likes the ones I have got made up now. Don't know if it is a daft question, do you think the nappies will be still okay for using as they would of been rolled up since end of May and I don't want to sell something that is not up to scratch.

Yes, they were rolled then a fine elastic band wrapped around them individually. I'll wait to see if the one for the July baby sells then if not unwrap them both and start afresh for the September one. Shame as I was on ages with the cellophane ensuring it had a secure hold on the cake base underneath !!

Whats the difference in methods? Have just bought some to do a cake for my sons teacher (never done one before so a one off) and the video on you tube shows them being rolled and then banded.

Hi i used to roll my nappies and have used them for my youngist after being rolled for a couple of months and they were fine. I've never had any bad feedback either.

I have just been to a playgroup fair and got a bit wet! I sold a small cake and a box of cupcakes which I was quite pleased with as there wasn't many people there. I also gave out lots of leaflets so hopefully that will create some future business. Can anyone help me with sourcing a wholesaler for silicone cupcake cases? I was using Asdas but they only have bright coloured ones now and I use pastel colours. Thanks Nat x

That's a shame that they've cancelled the summer fair Hsl500, hopefully the next one will be great and you will sell lots.

I've got my first stall next sat at the local school carnival, and very nervous about it. Still got a few cakes to make up etc. Lets just hope the sun is shining at both!! :)

Natnat, i noticed the other day that Asda had changed the colour of the cases :(. Not sure where else does them in the pastel colours!!
