Looks like I may have my first order too, a lady that comes into my daughters shop has said she will buy one in a couple of weeks when the baby is born, luckily I have a blue and a pink one made up. Maybe I should get a neutral one made up as well. Going to try and have a go at making the sock cupcakes and the sock bouquets.
I had made one cupcake up and it was on the computer desk when my (nearly 3 yr old) grandson spotted it, and said he wanted a cake. So at least it looks realistic !!!0 -
Hi all
I popped into Asda yesterday, and noticed some lion soft toys with £3 on the price tags and 75p on the shelf. I asked an assistant to check and they went through at 75p! I bought 4. They are about 8 inches tall with a shirt that says Best Dad or something like that, but this can easily be removed. I hope this hasn't been posted, I did a quick search and no messages came up. This was Bedminster, Bristol, in case anyone wants to know.0 -

Well done on your orders guys. The lady who received my luxury cake yesterday was really pleased which is great. I have loads of events, craft fairs etc booked now and I have just approached a new baby shop to stock my cakes, I'm a little bit scared!! Do you think baby shops are a good place or that they will favour their own stock that they will make more money on?Mum to 2 DSs, dog mum, wife full-time worker.

Am trying to set up a facebook page but the flipping site keeps crashing when I upload my pics grrrr! Keep up the baking!0
