I can have a look at my local store if you want and can arrange for them to be posted to you. If you are interested just email me letting me know what colours you would want.

Lizalloareds, If you are around, just wanted to ask about the yellow duck you got from Mamas and Papas! It's hard to tell on the website how big it is even with the measurements.
Have you got a pic where you have used it on a cake - just to get some idea of the size.

Lizalloareds, Thanks, 10 inch is quite big to what I normally use. I really like them and can't find any nice ducks anywhere.
Might be O.K. on a 2 Tier! I don't like over big toys on top of cakes. Will have a think about it.

I would charge between £12-15 to make it up and that would include your cost for cello, ribbon, board, your time etc, the rest is your profit!

I think about £15 too. I try to cost my labour at £10 p/h roughly, doesn't always happen! And the other £5 would be your materials x

I've had a 2 tier one on display in my daughters shop for the last few weeks now, hoping to get £25 (£5 profit). She has said plenty people have admired it, but none with any babies on the way ! I wish I could think of an outlet but the 2 florist shops in my town already have baby gifts on display in the window. Just wondering if I should maybe have a try with the cheaper sock cupcakes. It's more of a hobby doing something I enjoy rather than to make any serious money...but to make a little bit too would be rewarding.
