I have been asked to make a winnie the pooh themed cake. I've got a cuddly and brush / comb set. Can anyone reccommend anywhere to get clothes / blankets please? I don't live near a homebargains! Thanks. That's my second order of the day :-) And 7th this week!!!

Matalan, they do a whole range of WTP items, they are more expensive though but fab quality!

    Beautiful cakes moonpenny and lizza.

My friend is having Twins, she has only just found out, have bought 2 monkeys for the top and want to do a jungle themed cake, not sure weather to leave the cake naked and put clothes etc on the inside? I have jungle themed ribbons for it already and can add some other bits and bobs to it but not really sure wether I should leave the cake naked or do an all white cake with jungle ribbons?

  • I'd like to make a nappy cake for my sister, but I've never made one before.

In your experience, what are the best websites to learn the techniques? Any particular projects you would recommend to a beginner?

Where can you buy the bits and pieces more cheaply? (I'm on a tight budget...).

    Thanks for your advice!

    Lovely cake lizalloareds!

Hi Rusty, I have never done a twin cake so not much help I'm afraid!
I would put clothes on outside if they are jungle/monkey themed but otherwise I think maybe plain like you said. (I am a pain about matching things up, but that's just me!)
The ribbons you have sound fab. Be sure to post a piccy

By the way - How did your footy cakes go? Did you sell many?
