    "HELP" PLease:j:j

I have just taken a nappy cake round to my local florist and she wants to stock them and put them into the other two local shops. She said she would be interested in taking 15:eek: BUT she would like me to try and get things wholesale so that I can get a good profit and she can add on to make a good profit for herself. She has asked me to look into getting things wholesale but I have no idea where to start:confused: She is off on holiday for two weeks so I have until then to find somewhere.

I can appreciate that some people may not want to post on here in they are buying wholesale but if anyone would be prepared to PM me I would be greatful.

    Thanks

    Great news! Well done :j
I too am having the same problem, the lady that wants to stock my cakes has asked me for 2 of everything starting from mini to luxury in blue, pink and neutral (2 of each) and cupcakes etc.
I looked everywhere online and when buying relatively small quantities (50+) they are pretty much the same price as Home Bargains, B&M etc. Especially when VAT was added on and delivery (if ordering online) I found a few Sheldon plc was one of them and had some good stuff but not nearly as cheap as I thought a wholesaler would be - maybe I am being naive :o plus there was a £250 minimum order!
If you do find any more I would be very gratful if you could let me know too. Thanks in advance
The only thing I thought I could do was buy up as much stock in B&M etc and then if necessary change my designs when I run out?! I am making a range just for the shop and am trying to make them as cheaply as I can obviously the lady wants me to come up with a wholesale price for everything then she is buying them off me but on sale or return.
Its the best option I have though so going with it and see how it goes whilst off on mat leave just to get a bit of extra £
    Good luck searching and 'baking'
    :D

Unfortunately there is no B&M or Home Bargain up this way :( I only have Matalan and Asda locally.

I will need to go and see her agian just to clarify exactly what she wants to stock before spending loads of money on stock.

Good luck to you with your "baking"

Wow I can't believe you manage to do them for £6, thats great :)

I am having no luck with my christmas hunt, studio has a hat and bib "first christmas" set in blue or pink but some of their stuff can be tacky. The white blankets with stars on sound lovely. I went looking mother care and couldn't believe the prices! We dont have a dunnes or home bargains. Asda only had cream and its white im after, is anywhere else selling them? Ive looked online but most are about £6 and after the poor quality ones i brought online before its rather put me off! I would settle for white hooded towels if anywhere is doing them. Thanks

Try Adams. I've had the pink version of this blanket and it was lovely quality.

Have you tried JTF for whoelseale? I'm doing a cake for my SIL's baby shower and found the cake board, cello, nappies & ribbons to be very reasonable.
