Thanks Candy!! Not tight at all LOL!! Mine was actually just a toilet roll cake too!! and most of the bits came from the pound shop - even the apron!!! We did have a laugh about it tho cos I got a bit carried away and put all the dishcloths in - think there were about 80 in the pack or something - bit of a joke in the family that my bro won't run out of toilet rolls or dishcloths anytime soon!!

I think it is brilliant .... what a fab 'house warming' present. I'm sure he was well chuffed with it .... bet it has come in VERY handy.

Here's a Wedding Towel Cake I just made for some friends who got married in Cyprus last week & had their party on Friday - it caused quite a stir at the party tbh which I found quite embarrassing!!! LOL!! glad they liked it though cos it was my first proper wedding towel cake - used the towel bale from plumbworld!! flowers from poundshop & dunelm mill and cake topper reduced in clintons! So pretty cheap to do as well really!! I also did a co-ordinating personalised photo album!

did you print the ribbon yourself? i have printed on ribbons but never tried it on florist ribbons

Hi Irishgirl62 - thankyou!! No I didn't actually print the ribbon myself - its satin ribbon and I got it off a fab seller on Ebay! One of the lovely ladies on here gave me the details!!

hmm... I am looking for boxes to send my cakes in - can anyone recommend anywhere? So far all of my orders have been local so have delivered but now am going ahead with my website and planning on posting some I think I should really do it properly! Have had a few i've had to post and managed to use makeshift boxes but would be better if I got some oroper ones! Any recommendations would be great! thanks
