it would be a good idea to shop at both sainsbury and tesco online at the same time for the same goods. at checkout you can see which is cheaper and go for that one while canceling the other.
or is tesco normally cheaper than sainsbury?Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problemsWell at least i learn something on the way

as with everything it depends on who has offers you can take advantage of.
Sometimes tesco is cheaper than sainsbury's sometimes it's vice versa. I like Sainsbiry's in our area. They were late last week, rang to apologise, twice, and then i got the £10 off voucher, so i'm happy!:rudolf:0 -
I was wondering as i have just ordered my first shop from tesco, will they bring the shopping up the stairs as i live in a flat? or will they just drop it off at the bottom of the stairs?0

Tesco online is th ebest. Just did a massive gracery shop that came to £154. With the offers they have and a good £15 off voucher it came down to £100 - delivered to my door.
Can't understand why people will spend more time and money to go out and do it in store. The online discount codes are worth it for me alone.Giving up is easy...... just keep on trying!0 -
Thanks to this thread, Ive found out tesco actually deliver in my area (despite my living miles from a Tesco!) :T
Can some kind soul who shops there please help me with something? I got a fish pie (Tesco's) from the Factory Shop where I work. It had smoked haddock, salmon and prawns in it, and was just gorgeous. Do they still make it, and what is it called please? I've looked and looked on the site and can't find it0 -

Thanks to every one in this thread as it has made me have a go at online grocery shopping, something I have resisted for years (would I miss the bargains, etc).
But am I the only one to find Tesco's site hard to navigate? It seems so haphazard, or am I missing something?
Sainsbury's site was easy to start shopping right away, I felt I was walking down the aisles picking and choosing the products. :j I'm going to place an order for my next big shop, hope it goes alright.

I've just been looking at Saonsburys, I usually use Tesco. On Sainsburys site I can't find a quickshop type option, can I type in my list or do I have to find what I want in the aisles?Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!0

Alternatively, once you've been shopping with them a while, you can look at previous orders and click from that area.0
