When I have used Tesco delivery before, I would make sure that it was delivered on the days I was at work and OH was off (he works shifts) and by the time I got home it was put away as well :rotfl: :rotfl:
The only unfortunate thing was that he didn't take long to cotton and my plan was spoiled; bar humbug :sad:When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:0 -

Do you know of anyone who delivers in Aberystwyth? I used to order stuff online at Iceland to be delivered to my student brother who lives at the top of the steep hill but they don't deliver anymore.I have the mind of a criminal genius. I keep it in the freezer next to Mother....0 -
I've always considered the process of supermarket shopping to be inefficient, you end up:
1. travelling to a shop,
2. walking round filling up a trolley,
3. queuing up at a checkout
4. unloading the trolley onto a conveyor belt,
5. packing you shopping into bags
6. put it back into a trolley
7. take it to your car
8. unload the trolley again,
9. drive home
10. unload once again
11. unpack
12. put away
12 tasks which can be reduced to 3 online: shop, unpack, put away.

Tesco has changed my life totally! Having my shopping delivered from them for the last year was the best move ever. The delivery charge can always be offset by the BOGOF savings, on-line vouchers and no impulse buying! I will never go food shopping again!

Hello ... a newbie here
Unfortunately Tesco don't deliver in my area
Asda delivery has been good for me.
Lots of delivery times if you work full-time with very helpful delivery drivers.
I've been very pleased with them.A family that eats together, stays together

I'm pleased someone mentioned Asda. They have just started to deliver to my area, but I don't know anyone who has used them yet. I think I'll give them a go next time I shop online.0

I had an ocado voucher and still, it was far too much money!
I use Asda."I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -
I have shopped with Saisnburys online for about 3 years now - I much prefer them to Tesco. For example you have to have money in your bank account when you order with tesco - so let's say I'm doing an order to be delivered on payday - if there's no money in the account it won't accept the order - which I think is really wrong. They've been late numerous times - even cancelled orders and not rearranged them - and believe it or not I find Sainsburys to be cheaper overall - cannot fault them.Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0
