Hi , I have been reading this thread with interest ,
I am amazed at how cheaply some of you are managing. I have started writing everything down in a book and hope to reduce my shopping to £80 a week to start with :o.

    Hi all,

Well first big shop of the month last night and spent £73.87, would not recommend going to Tesco in Milton Keynes on a Wednesday ever again though, all the half price offers were out of stock - which really messed up my budgetting :mad:

Still need to get a few pieces for this week but think I'm doing extremely well, even DH was checking the offers and not just throwing things in the trolley as usual! It gets quite addictive.
    Currently takling Barclaycard - £67/£350

I live in Luton and occassionally I like going to Asda in Milton Keynes, never been to Tescos and then pop into Ikea for free tea and coffee :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I spent another £12 yesterday at market and co-op and now have so little left fro the month. We do have an extra mouth to feed that I hadn't figured for at the beginning of the month. DD has gone to Mr M for me today to use £5 off voucher which we can share as I hope my list doesn't come to £30
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Had my first MrS delivery this week and very impressed; I ordered 2 bakery items and they came with a note to say 'these items have a shorter shelf life than we would normally select for you. ...' and the option to return them to the driver for a refund. They were still 2 days in date and I'm freezing them anyway so no probs.

    I don't think I'll be going back to MrT ... ;)

So that spend was £52, + previous spend £11; I'm still working to my £80 and lots of stuff in so, although its early in the month, I should still make it ok. I've just milk and veg and fruit to buy; actually not buying much veg except salad as I want to use up some of my frozen and tins (bit of stock rotation before I build my pantry up again for the winter! :D)
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

My mums come to stay for a week (spure of the moment decision on her part) and she doesn't really like the same food as us, so I'm trying very hard to feed her without spending anything extra and its messing with my meal plan... Grrrrrrr
