  • 32, work in the field of wildlife rehabilitation, now at my maximum pay scale of £15,600, 37.5 hour week.
However it did take me 7 years to get to this pay level, and not much scope for promotion either. Can't really complain though as I've recently moved into my own place and I'm now a home owner!

I'm 25, Bank admin £13,600 pa. No holidays, but I get public holidays off, but I don't get paid for them. I do get a pension though. :(

I don't want to be admin for the rest of my life though, it sucks.
  • Ripe old age of 29! Store manager for a national coffee chain earning £19,500 + up to 60% bonus. Earnt £24k last year.:D

Get 25% discount throughout company, discounted lunch, as much coffee as I could possibly drink and the benefit of effectively being my own boss and working when I choose (within reason).:j

However, I travel 80 miles a day, spend almost £200 a month on petrol and always seem to end up working crazy hours!:(

Oh and don't even get me started on the customers .....:rotfl:

If you work full time for a UK bank or any UK company, it would not be legal for you to have less than 20 days holiday.
