    Admin assistant - £14k a year - no benefits £100 pm on petrol. :confused: I need more

    Need to Move closer to work or find a better paying job

    Pros:
    £1700 per month (tax free)

    Free acommodation while onboard
    Free use of ships facilities
    Get to explore the world

    Cons:
    6 months work followed by 1 month at home unpaid
    Very long hours work
    No excape from work

    18k basic + modest commission. Works out around 20k per year.
    Benefits - small pension, 28 days hols.

    Training to be a financial adviser. Fingers crossed 2010/11 will be a good year for me, money-wise. But I'm happy enough for the time being. No mortgage / kids / debt, etc.
    £1 / 50p 2011 holiday flight + hotel expenses = £98.50600


    HSBC 8% 12mth regular savings = £80 out of a maximum remaining allowance of £2500


    "3 months' salary" reserve = £00 / £3600 :eek:
