I am 23, graduated in 2007 having studied accounting and finance. Continued to study ACCA, now have 2 exams remaining & earning £25.7k0

Lecturer, £27.5k. Good pension with contribution from employer, paying for Masters, 60 days hol per year (inc bank hols).
Plus last year managed to earn a little more from doing work for publishers0 -

I disagree that these figures give a good indication of what to expect from a career, as the majority do not include the location of the poster. Depending on where you are in the country, the same job can vary wildly in terms of salary.0

The same role in the same town/city can vary wildly and also within the same industry too... there are many factors, such as experience etc. The role I am in has a really wide salary band, and that depends on experience and taking on more responsibility.
The thread was not started as a "guide" to salaries and careers, the thread is really just for interest and not meant to be a good indication of anything, it just shows that we all do different things and get paid different salaries. It might give an indication of areas to look at I guess.0
