I'm 27 and work in a shop. My basic wage I think is £6.50
I'm on 16 hours so it's under £500 a month
But I do get overtime. At the moment I'm not getting any and it's making me miserable.
I have been looking for a new job for years but there's not enough work about that's over 16 hours (or even over 5 hours)0 -
Night carer at a residential home. £7p/h (although this will go up in April - not sure how much by, yet.)
I usually bring home £700ish per month, with tax credits to top up.0 -
I'm 26. Only started working 'properly' at 23 (been to uni, then had some medical issues) in casual jobs while travelling. Now I'm a customer care associate in an inbound call centre, 17.000, pension, insurance, cycle to work scheme, bonus raffles. Oh and 60% discount off the company's products. I earn extra money as a freelance translator, anything from 100-500 a month. Hoping to keep working on my plan A) get ahead in the company and get a certification in translation and establish a base of clients. I'd like to work from home ideally when I have children.0
