Aged 26 - Project Manager (Local Government) in London
Just under £43kpa - flexi, 30 days leave + bank holidays, 6.8% matched pension contribution.
WFH once or twice per week
Have only worked in local govt since graduating in Politics

    Progression:

    22- 18k (Admin Officer)
    23 - 21k - new internal job (Commissioning Support)
23 - 32k - new internal job (Social Care Placements)
24 - 33k - new external job, end of contract (Social Care Placements)
    25 - 38k - promotion (First lead PM Job)
    26 - 43k - new external job (Project Manager - Transformation)

I enjoy working in local govt and really believe in its ability to be positive, despite the huge cuts. May jump ship to consult or contract in the future but happy getting more PM experience at the moment and continuing the steady progression.

I work in sales for a large electrical company. Aged 26 and earning £18k plus a company car. Get a bonus every year which is uncapped. Hoping for £2k this year so I can buy a car and find a job elsewhere.

I earned more as a supervisor in a factory and had less pressure. Hoping to either do that again where I can earn up to £25k or get a job in the NHS.

Business Management graduate and always wish I did an apprenticeship.

    To show progression here:

17-22: Retail sales earning about £12k p/a minimum
    23-24: Factory supervisor earning £21k
24-26: Electrical sales £18k salary, earned £20k last year and probably will this year.

How does that matched betting work? Been interested in that myself but don't understand how you lay the bet?
Can you pm me if you get a chance?

It's too complicated for me to properly explain in a single reply. There's plenty of websites and forums dedicated to it with more detailed guides. I'll PM you with some details.

You could read the matched betting forums on MSE. They are somewhat helpful, but I found the people to be generally rude and unfriendly to newbies. I am signed up to a site with the initials PA and it literally explains everything and is worth the fee. It was recommended by quite a few people. I've just completed my 1st month matched betting and made £350.
