I'm a train driver in london.
Gross is 48665 but going upto 51k in april with another payrise due in October.
Did have a final salary pension but now we've been screwed over so have to work until 62 now and no final salary pension. Don't work any sundays as they are classed as outside our working week and if we do they are extra. Also have a brass pension I put £50 a month into.
5 weeks holiday plus adhoc days
Taxis to and from work for earlies and lates and 75% off all other operators not owned by the group.
    Same for partner and daughter
Would love to do a job from home but wouldn't have the first clue in what lol.

I work for a TOC outside London, I know the pension age is being increased to 62 but as far as I'm aware we're keeping our final salary pension. Has yours been given away for terms and conditions?

It has been checked against its history and this is the comment received:
The website has been newly registered with a short life expectancy, which follows the pattern used by many fraudulent and fake selling websites. Please be vigilant and take extra care before providing any payment information.

Perhaps the poster would be willing to return & explain
  • Recently started a new job. Partnership manager for a non profit organisation. £48k and working from home which saves me £227 a month. There is also a lot of travel so I make a bit of money just by driving my car.

Benefits are not great really. Standard health care, half decent life assurance and that's it.

    I'm 26 years old

Almo I believe it's been changed slightly but that's not definite. Be interesting to see what the pension prediction will be now be compared to the last one.
I'm aiming to get enough savings so I can go way way before that anyway.
Looking to relocate to the dales area of Yorkshire in around 7-8 years.

This is definitely worth a read mate

I work in sales for a large electrical company. Aged 26 and earning £18k plus a company car. Get a bonus every year which is uncapped. Hoping for £2k this year so I can buy a car and find a job elsewhere.

I earned more as a supervisor in a factory and had less pressure. Hoping to either do that again where I can earn up to £25k or get a job in the NHS.

Business Management graduate and always wish I did an apprenticeship.
