I'm 22, former forensic scientist but thanks to the government I'm now a fashion sales consultant on £5.93 an hour but hours vary from 4 to 25 a week so I'm never guaranteed a decent wage at the end of the month. I get 25% discount in store and discounts and offers in other stores, services, ticket sales etc through a corporate perks scheme (which they kept well under wraps...never told about it until I noticed it in the tiny, tiny small print on my new contract). We also get a bonus after xmas if sales have been boosted. Oh...and a box of sweets if we beat store challenges set by head office, but as the manager takes the sweets and head office find any excuse to withhold the bonus I don't really count those.Paying off the overdraft:
End of April= -£500
Today= -£4550 -

We get a "Retro Sweets" hamper, so it's stuff like dolly mixtures, candy necklaces, fruit salads and blackjacks but it's very rare that the majority of staff ever get a look in. Though I did manage to swipe a packet of popping candy last time.Paying off the overdraft:

I'm 26 in Manchester and I'm a chartered accountant but I work in industry and I earn £32k. Perks are private medical insurance, working 5 minutes from home and no overtime!
Friends who passed their ACA at the same time as me earn more but they work crazy hours and a long way from home so I figure - what's the point?0
