  • I applied a couple of weeks ago via their online server (no CV attached). Heard back with a request for clarification of a couple of things, which I did and then got the pre-screener through, took that and heard back that I had passed that all within a couple of days.

Really could do with this - I was made redundant whilst on mat leave a couple of weeks ago and this sounds ideal just to fill in around my little girl until I can get another job in my area.
  • Hi, I have been looking to earn some extra income from home and have been following this thread with great interest.

I've applied for the Internet Assessor role with Lionbridge and have managed to get through the application process as far as the pre-test screener, which I now have 48 hours to complete. I noticed at the end that it asks how long was spent completing the pre-test screener and wondered if this has a bearing on whether or not I would be offered the role.

Obviously, for the pre-test screener, I would expect to take longer than if I had been doing the work for a while but that's just a matter of practice and familiarity with the rules isn't it? Could being too thorough going to work against me here?

    Thanks

Does anyone know how long it takes once you've sent the pre-test screener back? I sent mine last week, but haven't heard anything since.
Moving onto a better place...Ciao

FYI they are recruiting again. I applied yesterday, looked at it and thought 'I don't really want to be doing that'. Just went to their site and applied after seeing this link, they were not 'advertising' it as such. Good luck to anyone interested.

    Hi Folks

I take it that they are not recruiting in the UK at the moment?
If they are, then what sorts of qualifications/experience are they looking for?

    Thanks

Good luck with it! Fingers crossed.

Does anyone know how long it takes once you've passed the pre-screener and filled out the consulting agreement etc? I did this on the 3rd June and still waiting. :(
  • To anyone joining, thinking of joining, or already part of the Lionbridge "program", (say in American accent). Please do not treat this as a long term occupation. I have been reliably informed by someone who worked for them that they have a cull every few months. The fact that you have met and maintained their stringent performance requirements makes no difference. At some point you will be chopped!
