  • Thanks for that James, how r u finding it? Do they pay on time?
  • Hi all,

I worked for Lionbridge for a few months last year. Like a previous poster has said you sign a non-disclosure agreement preventing you from speaking about the work or the company.
I can say however they were a good company to work for, payment was always processed and in the bank on time. I enjoyed working for them but after a while it got a little tedious for me - though I have a very short attention span!!

    Hi,

just after a little advice. I've applied for the assesor position the other day, received my pre test screener thingy.

I realise that you guys can't say too much about hourly rates etc but I was wondering if any of you are able to answer a few questions that I have.....

    - is the hourly rate worth it? is it equal to or more than the min wage?
    - do you have to work set hours? or is the time flexible?
    - what happens when it comes to holidays? Are there set limits? Would it be reasonable to say take the school holidays off?
    - Is there plenty of work there? Do you find you get consistent number of hours each week, or does it vary?

Any hints/tips on the exams?? Bit cheeky, but don't ask, don't get!

I guess thats it for now, but I'm sure that I will be back with some more!

    Thanks
    Mambury

Yes the wage is good, better than NMW. Hours are very flexible. You can take leave when you want. Like any self employed position you don't have the guarantee of continuous work or a permanent position.

Yes I like it. I wouldn't have it as your only source of income though.

interesting... do you find the hours regular then or a little erratic?
