  • Lots of UK internet assessors have been let go today, including me :-(

I don't know what this means for the future of the position. I hope that it is not bad news for everyone as it has been a great at home job for me and I will miss it!

That probably explains why I've never heard back from them after applying at beginning of this month :(

I applied 2 weeks ago and have had the Pre Test Screener done and passed so I think they are still taking people on.

I wonder why they're so inconsistent? I applied about 5 weeks ago for the assessor position, got an email confirming they had recieved it and nothing else since. Looked on their website just now to see that they're no longer accepting applicants from UK, not sure whats going on!

So as I started this thread in the first place but didnt get any work even though I am highly qualified for this sort of work I had decided to reapply. I have just been to the website and it states no work for UK and I have noticed that some of you have just lost your jobs and yet others are able to apply? Can anyone tell me for sure if I am able to apply for work again (hopefully this time successfully) and if so which roles are available please?

  • I applied for the UK Labeling Editor position on 30 Sept. I was invited to do the screen test which I passed. I was then sent a 2nd test to complete. On returning this (12 Oct), I got an email back from someone called Mary saying that I would hear back in 3-5 working days.

Since then I've heard nothing and have not had any replies to any emails I've sent (despite the email from Mary saying "
[FONT=&quot]If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me."!). My application status is still 'In process' on their system.

Has anyone had a similar experience to this? Is it normal for an application to get taken this far and then left in limbo?

    Thanks

  • I applied and completed my first test for the UK Labeling Editor position early October. I then completed my second test Mid October
I have just been invited to do the 3rd and final entrance exam this week.
Fingers crossed it will go well.

I hope you eventually hear from them with good news.
