  • After (I think about 3 months!) Have finally been told that I got the job and can start rating!

A few questions though, in the email it talks about being sent a log in, but I can already access the rater homepage and have started rating searches. Should I have waited?

Also, if a rating goes to unresolved, does it mean that I have to do something else to it?

    thanks in advance.

May I ask, what are you rating?
Got Halifax Classic to reduce my interest rate by 5% woohoo - 10/06/08 Thanks MSE!
    Another 3% shaved off 10/12/08
    ANOTHER 4 % June 09:beer:
  • Well I first applied for the internet assessor role in Sept. I finally got a pre test screener last week which I passed then received the exam today. After spending most of the day reading the 101 page document that they sent I failed partI of the exam so can go no further. Its a bit frustrating!!. Anyone know of any other good work at home opportunities?

Hi everyone, found this forum and topic after applying for this job in October and searching google for info. Just wanted to say thanks for all of the posts, some of them have really helped.

EDIT: Got the answers to the questions I had asked from a friend :)

:jWell done on getting the job! I've been doing it for 6 months and like it. I would advise you not to post about task times etc on public boards because of the NDA though. Did you get sent a link for the new rater's portal? There is loads of information on there.

  • Bah, applied yesterday and got a rejection e-mail today. Guess they didn't need anyone with an English Literature masters.

Possibly you didnt meet the other criteria for the position? They are still recruiting as I know somebody who has just started at the end of last week
  • I can confirm this, i have just today passed the practical exam for the internet assessor role. Must say i`m really chuffed. The email said they will be sending me the login details shortly. Any idea how long this generally takes? really want to get rating asap. Thanks to everybody on this thread for the info about this company.
  • Also do they pay you for the test? They haven`t mentioned anything about being paid for the 10 hours that the test took.

I didnt get paid for mine, they seem to have done away with all the new rater bonus' (i've been doing it for a few months) but didnt spend 10 hours on the test, i rushed it as i had no time and really thought i had failed, and then got an email to say congratulations :)
