They are definitely recruiting in the UK, as I've been contacted about the role. However, I wonder whether they are just going through their existing database, because I was contacted having not been successful in getting their internet assessor role.
By the way, one of the prerequisites for the Label editor role is that you must not have been worked as an internet assessor for them previously or currently.
thanks for taking the time to let me know, looks like I won't be eligible for the label editor role, oh well, good luck with your applicationLindsayO

I applied for Lionbridge last year and was sent a test about 4 months later. I was not interested in the job anymore then so did not do test. I am interested again and sent in another application last month. Not heard back yet. Does anyone have the test still that they can forward to me?0

Does anyone know how long they take to send the exam through?
I did the inital pre screener and they replied with the terms and conditions that I had to agree to. I did that about 5 days ago but they haven't sent the exam sent as of yet.
Also does anyone know if you have to email the consulting agreement back to them with your signature on or if you just have to agree to it in the terms and conditions. I was wondering if there is something I have missed and that is why I haven't received my exam yet.0 -
Does anyone know how long the average rater lasts? Every month I get worried that they're gonna drop me, even though I've been pretty good and received great feedback.0

There doesn't seem to be much work at the moment, unless I've logging in at completely the wrong times. Only managed 7 hours last weekMoving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0

The exam used to get sent out on a Wednesday to be completed by Sunday but this could have changed.0 -

Same here. In fact I just emailed them to say there was no point me carrying on - week before last I managed 4 hours, last week about 2 hours. I won't be able to make it up by the end of the month. I have 10 hours free a week, but at specific times. I can't log in repeatedly all day. So I sit down for a 2-hour stint, and manage about 20 minutes, but that's 2 hours I've wasted just checking and re-checking for tasks. Grr!0 -

If you're in the UK, your contract will end after 11 months. I got great star ratings too, but I don't think it makes much difference as the 11 month mark seems to be set in stone, something to do with UK employment law. I was terminated last month, (sounds painful) with just 24 hours notice. Luckily, I was expecting it, so was prepared. Might be an idea to start looking around for other stuff if you're near the end of your 11 months.
This only seems to apply in the UK though, so if you're elsewhere in the world, you may have longer.0 -

I wouldn't be too hasty. I know it's frustrating but I remember it was very quiet this time last year, but it did pick up towards the end of the year, and I then had an almost constant stream of work, until I finished last month.
If you can hold on through this quiet period, I'm sure things will improve.0 -

Oh thanks, that's a bit of a relief. I will have done 2 months by the end of August and 9 more months sounds good to me. I'm not getting much work at the mo either but they will not penalise you because it's not the raters fault.0
