Hi there, had an email from ICT.TEST@lionbridge.com, the Lionbridge GSS recruitment team, saying the following.
Hi,
The Lionbridge GSS Recruitment teamwith Lionbridge Technologies here with a new work from home opportunity for your review. This position is for a Data Editor with the Editorial program of a global search engine and the start date is immediately.
Attached to the email is documents which they want me to sign... Code of conduct, consulting agreement, Waiver for Search and a vendor account form wich asks for my Bank details to ensure payment. The documents all seem legit but I am looking for some advice before proceeding.
Are they offering me a position ?? ANy help would be greatly appreciated.
Has anyone filled in the forms for this role?0 -
Has anyone applied for the ICT job mentioned most recently in this thread? I'm not sure how to record my hours, I have got all my files done in about half the time of the estimates. I don't want it to seem like I rushed the job but also do not want to take the hand regarding payment for hours worked. Is it best just to be honest as I'm sure they can guess if someone's being a chancer...or is there a secret way of them knowing from the files you have worked on ??!!0

Just be honest, they can easily tell how long you took (100 ratings took you 10 mins, you claim 2 hrs, the last rating you got was after 9 mins, obviously didn't take 1hr 50mins)
There's no such thing as doing it too fast though, if you do it 10 times as fast as they allow, it's irrelevant if the quality is fine.0 -
Hi everyone.
I just received an email notifying me that my application was unsuccessful for the Labelling Editor position, however at exactly the same time I also received one saying that I have progressed to the next stage. Then an hour later, I received an invitation link to the Pre-Screen test. Am I right in thinking that the first email was a mistake? I only applied for the one position as the way the Assessor job was worded made me think I needed to be bi-lingual - is that right?
Has anyone had this happen to them? I think I'll take the test, as they might put me forward for another position or reassess my suitability for this one based on my results.0 -
Hi everyone, I applied 2 weeks ago for the assesor job, no reply yet though.
Is this an ok job if I'm studying at college too? Will I have time to work and do college?
Also I'd like to know about the NI payments and do you have to be self employed?
Also if anyone in England is on Natwest, do they charge for international payments?
Thanks!!0 -
Hi
I have just applied this position. Can anyone tell me how much work they get out of this if they are doing it already and if you can work more then 20 hrs per week?
Whats their current rate for UK workers and are the tests particularly difficult?
Thanks

I got my pre-screen tests today which was really quick. However when I clicked the link in the email to access my candidate profile after entering my login details all I got was a message saying "internal error, please try again later". So I coudn't do the tests and attach them to my profile.
Has anyone else had this problem when trying to log in? I have emailed them to let them know.

I got through to the test via e-mail and just waiting for results on that now.0 -
Good luck wileycat! Was that the online tests or the spreadsheet test?
I found out today that I passed the online tests and have been sent the second test to complete. It only took four days between doing the online pre-screen tests and getting the email to say I had passed them, in case anyone is wondering about time scales.0 -
The spreadsheets test.
Send it back last saturday, had a reply monday saying I should have a response within 3-5 days. So should know soon either way!0
