Hi, I am about to do the pre-test screener, but as I need to work 16 hours a week for Tax Credit purposes, was wondering whether this would be realistic?

Read this thread with interest so applied to be an assessor a week and a half ago. Got my pre-screener through last night and have been sent the NDA this morning (cant read and download it yet as just got it through on my phone).

How soon does it take to get the study stuff through after they have received the NDA and does the exam have to be taken at a specific time or can you do it over a period of a couple of days.

Hope everyone is enjoying the role so far

Hello all,

I just received the pre-screener but i can't open it as it says its password encrypted. I've emailed LB and they sent me it again and as a .zip file but neither will work still!
has anybody had this problem before and if so, HELP!

Is it an Excel application? Can you try and open it on somebody else's computer and see if that works? When is the deadline for submitting it? I would email again to put it on the record that you can't open it. I don't know if they consider people that submit tests late, sorry I can't help more.

yes sorry, its excel! i've emailed them twice to tell them it wasn't working and they havent replied to the second time yet! ive tried on my home comp and laptop but still no joy!

I truly understand your frustration. For what its worth, I reckon they will send it you again but probably on Monday.
