What would be a fair spec reapcement for samsung tv?

having been into two stores already on saturday the first tryed to tell me that that 2 tvs had teh pip and all other spects which was completely untrue doesnt even have pip.

The second was better and tryed to push for 900gbp tv a lcd just to put the value up i told him that the nearest i had seen was s10 and he didi try but was told to tell me to go back today.

He wasnt optimistic that they would even grant that sttaing that they was happy to increase if th eissue is scart or similar.

I know the tv i want which is near although way better in a lot of ways but still has some missing features and a missing dvi but its is a 50" as stated before and doubt they will allow that even though it hasnt got all my features.

Sorry think im just ranting lol il will find out today either way

yeh they tried to give me a laptop without bluetooth saying its not a main feature and i flatly refused saying i will take the to court as their contract state spec for spec. they rang up again and got it through

stand strong on the features you need (you ma have to let un-necessary features go to make it easier)

and constantly state you just want the cheapest reputable brand tv with those features

by the way make sure you ring that whateverhappens number today and ask them what happens when there is not a replacement spec model available.

LinasPilibaitisisbatman do you work for currys or whateverhappens because you have a real problem why you so agaginst someone getting the best they can ??lol.

I finally decided on teh one i said i had to accept the 42" thoughg and put 250 towards for the 50" so i will have to starve for a few weeks lol.

I have to wait till sunday for the tv :mad: but im happy with it.

Went store i origianlly bought from and got adviser called andy who wasnt very helpful infact insisited all tvs instore where better spec than mine not true showed a list for my previous tv which aws completely wrong. Insisted they was right as he used to sell them and that was a third generation tv 3 years old lol. Showed this site so i could give link to the specs so he will no doubt read this

Went to another store where i was treated very nicely and di their best to help with no argument they got a extra voucher within 5 minutes, knocked te price for delivery.

So i guess i didnt do too badly, and got phone call back to check everything has gone smoothly im actually quite impressed for teh first time with this firm.

It is the best one i cam across by a mile plus it has free satelite hd :j so i will plug my satelite into just to get the hd as not really had chance to see the full hd.

It cost 1349 i had to put 250 to it though to get 50", but it i sa vet good tv.

He offerd some ohers so that i didnt have to pay the rest but i felt this was the best it is very good quality tv full of good features, hopefully this lasts longer than the last.

I at least i got a better tv than the rubbish they was offering anyway 400+ plus more than they had offered, the bloke did say he got someone knew and thats why he didnt question the amount.
