The bank MIGHT still be able to do something as fraud has been committed (no I don't know but it has to be worth a try)!
I would send a bouncer style mate around saying that he was there to pick up the laptop they forgot to put in the package. If that did not work I would go to the police - he has broken the law after all.
Maybe if someone actually stands up to him he will stop trying it on.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
I can't remember exactly when it changed, sometime late last year I think.I am sure someone will have a better memory than me and recall the date.
Under the old rules a cheque could bounce for months, I had one bounce after several months of being cleared.
November/December 2007, if my memory serves me correctly.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
I'm totally shocked. Get you bro to call the bank today and see if he can cancel the cheque.
What is the seller's ebay ID?
Using that, you may be able to get his details and either take him to court or post poo through his letter box!
Either way, something needs to be done, that is awful. :mad:I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left. :rolleyes:0 -

It doesn't. But it's the kind of "constructive advice" lots of adolescents post on MSE nowadays. If only they had a forum of their own.0 -
If it wasn't for the fact the OP has such a high post count, I'd be wondering why they created this thread and have not come back to it. It's the sort of subject matter you'd think they would keep informed.
Possibly another wind up, just like the excessive postage thread the other day?
As it is, we just have one vague opening post, and 4 pages of "I'm right, you're wrong, send the boys round, I know more than you, I told you so, my dad's bigger than your dad."
And for that reason "I'm oot".<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
But are you allowed to send the boys round in a civil dispute?
Name & shame! Tell Watchdog!! Ring The Daily Mirror!!!
That's the answer (wot I copied & pasted from 27,000 other posts.)0 -

Soolin, is there a reason you removed my post i made here a few minutes ago, i notice you are removing alot of my posts.
Perhaps there was a valid reason but you seem to be doing it alot?
If there was please explain, otherwise i am considering reporting you for abusing your position as board guide to censor and restrict my ability to post openly here due to your own personal dislike of me.0 -
There is more than one person allowed to remove posts - look at the little red triangle at the bottom left corner of each post.
Paranoia!<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
yes but there was nothing in it to report or that counted as abuse, only one board guide has a personal problem with me.
So if i click all the red triangles on the posts in this thread will they all get deleted?0
