Catman & Beth I couldn't read & run either so ((((((big hugs))))))) to you both. It's so hard, I know. I was the 4th child to be born to my parents. The other 3 all died within the first 18 months of life and they were never able to have any more after me.

So that is why you are so special as all children are, no matter what age, we are all someones child.

essex-girl - That sounds like a bit too much excitement! Must agree with Betheebee though - 100 firemen!!!!!!:j

elona - Happy Anniversary to you and Mr e! Good luck to your DD - sounds like a very confusing interview!

Gorgeous cake Pooky!:T i bet your DD was pleased.

thriftlady - that recipe sounds lovely! Do you make it with Dijon mustard?
We've been to a campsite in the Calvados area 4 times now, it's lovely!

Cheapskate - Welcome back, and congrats about the baby!

I'm posting late today as we've just changed ISP, from Pipex to O2. Pipex switched our connection off first thing this morning and O2 connected us around lunchtime, and they had already sent us the new wireless router, but DH was a bit wary about sorting it out in case he did something wrong, so we waited for DS who used to be a techie :D He has given me MSE as my home page :A Now I just need to arrange a new email address. Not sure how to do that, so I'll let DH do his first;)

Dinne was Hm chicken curry from the freezer :D

Off now to read yesterday's thread, as I only had time to read the first page.

Catman, I couldn't read and run. Sending you both heartfelt sympathy. I can't begin to imagine what you and your wife go through each year ( for which I'm truly thankful). Be assured, you're amongst friends, we don't expect or want you not to mention something so momentous. Have a dodgy hug:grouphug:

bethebee so sorry for your losses too. No wonder you do so much for your girls ;)

I'm back from Canada ( thanks for the welcome Penny Penguin :D) I'll bore you all rigid with my delicious granddaughter another day:o CM

    Evening all,

Busy morning here...OH to Warfarin clinic for 10 and then DD2 and DGDs 1 & 3 to the airport for 12...not sure how she does it with two little ones and luggage but at a text at 16.45 to say that she was in the taxi on the way from Tottenham Hale....refuses to get a taxi from Stansted as it costs £100...I would be getting the taxi even if I had to live on bread and water for a week, with her it is just that she won't part with the money....not sure where she gets that from! House is very quiet this afternoon.

    Hugs to Catman and Beth

We had leftovers for dinner to-day....braised steak from yesterday and pasta from Monday, not sure what to have to-morrow, should get something out of freezer but haven't done yet.

DD3 has been found to have an excess of mercury so has to go on a diet for 2 months and take all sorts of stuff, she can't have dairy, alcohol, spices, wheat or sugar....she can have spelt so have undertaken to get some flour tomorrow to make her some bread, will also make her some hummous and a pot of veggie soup...anything to keep her from wasting away!

Hugs to all who are in need or want, congratulations to all who are celebrating, welcome to newbies and please come back to all of you who have been MIA for too long.

    Evening folks

Mr and Mrs CM and Beth((((((Hugs))))))

Diva and WS - are you ok?

Today has been really busy at work and then afterwards at home. Running round like a mad woman after work getting currency for Ireland, trying to get nails done, ironing and packing clothes so have just sat down. Luckily had a casserole in sc or would not have had time to eat!!!

We fly off to the wedding in the morning so will be MIA until early next week so will catch up with you all then. ((((Hugs)))) to anyone who needs or wants them. Happy Birthday or congratulations to anyone I shall miss.

Have a good few days everyone (at least weekend is forecast as good weather)

    xxx
