  • Damn, forgot to mention.

My ex provided a afidavit of his financials and now they are asking me to do the same.
    Do I need to ????

  • Heres a different one for you - Im an ex pat living in Spain " a British national" - My Ex lives in the UK ( he left Spain , left us) and is now self employed with a new family , I still live with the children in Spain - How will REMO work for me ? Do I have to apply in the UK as this is where the non payer resides , or do I apply where I live and let REMO do the work? There has been no consent orders just his word of " promised "payments that never appear. Where do I start?

The child lives with you in Spain, so you start the process in Spain. No idea how the Spanish system works though I'm afraid!

Yes you do. Not that your income goes towards a reduction or increase in payments from the NRP, but if there was ever a request of additional payments due to hardship etc., it would be on file what both of your incomings/outgoings are. Also, if it's good enough for the NRP to have to disclose their accounts, then we should be prepared to disclose ours too.

Sorry, haven't been on here for ages. If you haven't heard anything from Mississippi I'd contact your local court with a letter for them to forward to REMO as I'm sure pages back someone said REMO won't speak to you directly.

I now communicate with the Texas CSU by email but they've stopped collecting arrears saying my order was only enforceable from February but have included his voluntary payment made in January in his payments for last year so I've forwarded a copy of my letter to them asking for a review to REMO to see if they can do anything.

    Hope you get things sorted

Does anyone know about the Maintenance department of the London Compliance and Collection Centre?

What role does it play with regard to overseas maintenance orders? What powers does it have?

Hi Aurous, I have just come across your post as I have not been on here for several months.

I am in receipt of Child Support Payments from the US. They are paid by cheque directly to REMO who convert and forward them to me. They are not sent to the main maintenance department of the London Compliance and Collection Centre who have advised me that they do not collect payments made by parents who live overseas on behalf of parents with care here in the UK, they simply collect payments made here in the UK to send to parents with care overseas.
  • Hi Guys, I am about to start the Remo process. My 18months daughter's father is a very famous and rich celebrity in Nigeria, he has refused to pay any child support. While filling form, I have come across the section for his personal details, like his salary. I have no way of finding out this information, i have not way of finding this information. Can i send form without filling this and how will they get his financial details? pls help with any infomation.

    Thanks
  • Can anyone help just been advised by Scottish Government that they do not have a reciprocal enforcement maintenance order that covers Malaysia. Does anyone know how I can pursue my ex for maintenance between Scotland and Malaysia. He has paid no maintenance for 9 years despite having a separation agreement lodged through the Scottish courts.

    Thanks
