Hi All
Hope you all had a good bank holiday.
Well i am back at work todayand i am already bored.
I got to go to the post office at lunch today as my ebaying is going wellbut i doubt it will be for long.
I have brought my own lunch in again today to try and save my normal amount what i normally spend on food and starbucks just hoping i can keep away.
I am suppose to be going for a meeting with a recruitment agency tomorrow about a weekend job waitressing but i really cant make up my mind if i should go or not as i dont get much time to myself at the moment as i work every other sat and everyother week till 10 at night overtime for my current full time job :S and i am always tired as it is.
well it is payday as well tomorrow so i will be able to go out and buy some more fruit and veg plants and some herb plants for the garden as i havent had much luck this year the chickens got into the veg patch and ate everything
I got a feeling it is going to be one of those weeks.
Hope all have a good day0 -

Morning all
Mixed weather here, I don't think it has made its mind up yet!
At work today, just stopped for a coffee - its amazing how having one extra day off at Bank Holiday creates so much more work to be caught up on! Luckily just here today and tomorrow this week
When I get home tonight must start packing for the weekend away. It will be quite a challenge as we can only have 1 suitcase between 2 and that can only weight 15kgs!!
OH's suit is quite heavy anyway and we have 2 "dressing up" days/nights to take clothes for, so will have to weigh it all very carefully!
We couldn't take a suitcase each as we are sharing a hire car at the other end and wouldn't get them all in!
Nevertheless I am getting excited about going now.:j I love going to see the famiy in Ireland anyway and the wedding should be lovely, the place where they are holding it is a gorgeous hotel. (Although we are all stopping somewhere slightly cheaper!);)
Tea tonight will be something already made out of the freezer (thank heaven for bulk cooking) as I will need to get on once I get home. Washing basket is nice and empty after the lovely weekend so hopefully will not have to do any washing before we go on Thursday - though my DD always seems to have a habit of desperately needing to take something with her that is the only dirty item in the house!!
:wave:Diva and WS hope you are both OK - missing hearing about LB's exploits!
Have a good day everyone
xxx"Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you are up to........"Dieting ........... is no piece of cake!!!!:D
Weight loss since January 2011 - 5st 5 lbs!!!!!0 -
Morning everyone - sharp showers here today inbetween some sunshine.
Did a load of washing during the night, but didn't take the risk of hanging it out. Hope to do that when I get home tonight.
Not sure what we'll have for tea tonight, will depend on what I can find in the freezer methinks. Could be a fish pie that I made a couple of weeks ago, or salmon salad.
More studying again tonight, chipping away at these reports......
Have a good day everyone0 -
Half a dozen bread rolls and a one pound loaf are proving ready to be baked for later.
Some left over chicken breasts are being poached to make a couple of meals later.
Might do chicken and veg tortilla for lunch for DD(15) and me and maybe home made pizzas for tea to use up the chicken, peppers, mushrooms etc in the fridge. Still have a cauli to use up so mght make cauli cheese as well.
DH left happy as I made him poached egg on toast before he left.
Think I am getting over this virus at last - fingers crossed.
Speaking of which could all you kind people cross your fingers for DD(23) who has an interview at 3.30 this afternoon. I just wish that it was a bit further North than Portsmouth - I thought Oxford was far away lol!
Hugs to everybody and see you later."This site is addictive!"

Morning everyone :hello:
Just a flying visit as I'm in the office doing the VAT return. My cup runneth over.
House was swished and swiped the morning and unpstairs windows opened to air. Getting very cross with the weatherman who predicted heavy rain all day so all washing is on the pulley and clothes airers and the sun is splitting the sky.I'll be home about 2ish so I can hang it out then.
The fledging blackbird was joined yesterday by his two brothers so I spent the day yesterday popping them back up the cliff. They're down again this morning and huddled behind a plant pot. The father is still feeding them but they don't stand a chance if the cat sees them.
Packed lunches for all of us today of tuna salad, fruit salad and HM muffins. tea will be YS chicken breast stuffed with herb butter, baked spud and salad. may even have the first radishes from the garden.
Need to pop to Waterstones on the way home for a book on the Egyptians for Dtwin2. She's not the most academic child but I have never seen her this enthused about a topic at school so I want to encourage her all I can.
Beth, don't be so silly. You're not boring anyone. :A
Fingers crossed for Elona's DD.
Take care all.

Afternoon all,
Weather seems to be clearing up here a bit, which is not good news as I'd planned housework but now feel I should be in the garden, house suffers when the weathers good :rotfl:
Saying that, I should be doing the housework or gardening and I'm on here!!
ETA: good luck to Elona's DDDFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
Afternoon all.
Flying visit - I'm supposed to be making a start on packing my suitcase!
BM died on Saturday morning:( so that meant a quick dash into town to get a replacement. Can't complain I suppose, I'd had it for about 5 years, and it was second hand then, given by a friend when he bought a new one - I don't know how long he'd had it, quite a while I think.
So I'm getting used to my shiny new Panasonic:o Have done tomato bread, and bread rolls, and all seems to be OK.
Better go and get on.
Fingers X'd for Elona's DD; ((((HUGS)))) to all who want/need one today. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Good afternoon lovelies!
Not quite sure where this morning has gone-quick trip to the shops for some veg (can't believe I've never shopped on the market before), couple of bits in poundland &a slow cooker, which now has a bologanise bubbling away in it :j
Bitsy: where do you get soya mince from? Mum used to use it when I was a fussy teenage veggie. I've always found that it takes a lot of seasoning but after that I find little difference from meat, except the price. Whatever you do though, please don't give it to the birds, dried stuff is bad for them
fingers crossed for all those with exams &interviews.
