    Morning all!

First lot of washing on the washing line (do you know how long it takes to hang up because i'm determined NOT to use matching pegs - i'm obsessed!). Second lot of washing in the washing machine! DD has thread worms so it's lot of washing today as the whole family have to be treated even if there are no symptoms. Just as well it's a nice day!

Soappie - i'm defintely going to phone the RSPCA and get some advice. The cage is probably only 10 feet by 5 feet and just not big enough in my opinion!

Off to walk the dogs and then I'm working today - can't complain as I've had the rest of half term off!

Have a good day and get that sun tan lotion out!!! In the words of Dusty....SLIP, SLAP, SLOP!!

Mudbath, that means you're as obsessed as Valli and Co... Do what I do and just don't look in the peg bag when you get them out then they're mixed up - you can look out on the line seeing lots of different styles and colours and know without the effort - the whole point is not to be bothered by it, not make it an ritual too...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I think you're all peg mad

Good idea to contact RSPCA - I know grand houses have them, but they usually roam free in the back garden. not caged up - how weird to have them at the front anyway - sure they're real?

Evening all. Not been around for the last part of the week, but I've not been slack - been really busy. Got a cold AND a cold sore . . and the cold sore hurts :(

Our two international students arrived today. They seem like nice boys, so I'm sure we'll get on OK. They've been out checking out the neighbourhood and have walked the walk to school so they are all set for next week.

We are taking DS1 back to the city tomorrow - it's about a three and a half hour drive so we'll be leaving early and getting home late. Hope to do some grocery shopping at the cheap shops while we are there :)

Won't be on much next week either as I'm working full time . . . so until next time . . . Nighty night.

Another lovely day here, swimming lessons first. It's the last of this block of sessions and they usually get the floats out for them to play on for the last 10 mins of the lesson. Surprisingly they want to go today :rotfl:

We'll then call and see DH with some fresh flowers and then Miss A and W can play on the back garden while I get some dot to dotting done around here.

rach sorry to hear your news, really hope it gets sorted quickly for you. LL thinking of you too, huge hugs and ~positive vibes~ in the coming weeks.

Flower that list is toooooooooo long, ditich it, they will all come round nxt week

OH belongs to 2 bike clubs one based in Milton Keynes advanced bikers , the other is internet based forum around his type of bike, so both arrange a lot of 'ride outs' a bit like us fly ladies / men meeting up for a natter / walk / meal / drink.

OH reckons he is one of the youngest there!!:D (and he is 50)

Last year he did the 'ride to the wall', (if you u tube that you might find it, the wall is the war memorial in Stoke with the Harley Davidson gang, over 2000 I think went and they had a police escort etc etc, it was it seems the biggest ride out in the UK ever.

I refuse because of my balance to go on the back of his bike, my balance is so lousy, if I became un balanced and we went over and either of us were hurt or worse, I would never forgive my self.

Good luck to your OH for this test.

    Right:_-
Bathroom, shower, bed, hoovering and dusting etc etc upstairs is all done!!! :j:j:j:j:j:j
    Kitchen is all done :j:j:j:j:j:j
WM x 2 is done , next load in, all hung out to dry. :j
Extra shopping done, my ex step son and his wife has just rung to say they are visiting friends in the area, and 'might' pop over if they have time, told them they are welcome, but I'll be in the garden, so not to bother about knocking on the front door as I won't hear them, as OH (not my ex step son's father, confusing I know) is out, just to come round to the side of house. Guess I had better offer to feed them BBQ , if not I can freeze the stuff.

Right rest over, lounge, hallway next then my car

    Back later

Keep going girls and those with kids in this lovely weather, have fun in the garden playing.

    Morning All :hello:

Right..... busy day in the Shattered household today. DD2 is going to the climbing wall and we want to buy the paint for the LR.... think we've decided on this scheme. We're going with white units, woodwork and fireplace. :j I'd be even more excited if we didn't have to do it ourselves!!! :p

We also need to buy a new BBQ as ours nearly collapsed on us while cooking on it last night  And a new strimmer cos ours gave up last week. Thank goodness it was pay day yesterday!!!
I've got 2 washing lines full and blowing... smashing! DW on and WM going again!

Hope everyone's well and chirpy, and has lovely weather.

Special (((hugs))) for Toots and LadyL
    See you later

Ooo thanks for reminding me kazw and SS, Miss A has volunteered us to do a BBQ at Nanan and Grandad's this evening! Must remember to get some food in and check the garage for charcoal.

ETA love the colour scheme :)
